Refund Policy

PAYMENTS, CANCELATIONS, AND REFUNDS.

To book a space in an Expedition, a bank deposit of $ 300 per person is required for Expeditions that last nine days or less; a deposit of $ 650 per person is required for expeditions of ten to 15 days; and a deposit of $ 1,000 per person is required for expeditions of 16 days or more, unless indicated on the itinerary page. The final payment must be made no later than 15 days before departure. Payments must be made by credit card. The booking of a participant can be canceled if the full payment has not been received 15 days before the departure date. For reservations made within 15 days of the departure date, full payment is required when the reservation is accepted. All cancellation notices must be received in writing and will become effective as of the date sent

If a participant cancels 15 days or more before departure, a refund will be made less an administrative fee of 50% of the deposit. Charges per person for cancellations that occur less than 15 days before departure (“Penalty period for cancellation”) 30 days before departure: 100% of the amount of the deposit; 20-15 days before departure: 50% of the cost of the Expedition; 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the cost of the expedition. This policy also applies to extensions before and after the Expedition. Any revision made within the Cancellation Penalty Period, such as a change in the departure date or the choice of the Expedition, is subject to this cancellation policy. Any air ticket issued is subject to the carrier’s refund policy. Arriving late or leaving an Expedition in progress, for any reason, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused part of an Expedition

THE PERU TRAVEL will provide participants with a full refund of funds paid to the tour operator; except in the event that the cancellation is due to an important event that makes the operation of the Expedition impossible as planned, in which case the tour operator will provide the participants with a refund and / or credit for a future Expedition equivalent to the amount paid. If THE PERU TRAVEL cancels the Expedition in progress, participants will receive a pro-rated refund based on the number of days not completed in the Expedition.
