Explore the beautiful Colca Canyon trek in Peru. Discover a little-visited trail where you can spend hours on the trail without seeing other hikers. The Colca canyon has an extreme topography, the flat spaces are few and far between each other, those are surrounded by active Andean peaks and volcanoes. During three days in the canyon appreciate the fly of the condor, which will leave you breathless.

The night before your trip your guide will meet you in order to give some instructions.
All transportation is included on this trip. You will be picked up from your hotel to start the trek, and transportation will pick you up in Cabanaconde

The Peru Travel chefs specialize in well-known Peru’s cuisine. They use only natural products, in case you have some restrictions with some meals, you must indicate the moment you make your booking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day during the trip, along with tea and snacks. The first breakfast and the last day’s lunch are not included.
Since your first lunch until your last breakfast, The peru Travel will provide you all water you need. Water will be boiled, filtred and then chilled before its distribution. You have to give us your own water bottles. It’s recommended to take a canteen and avoid the use of plastic bottles.
Every The Peru Travel guide has been trained in first aid by the Red Cross. Your guide will always have a first aid kit for basic medical issues and oxygen. In case of extreme urgency, the company will be in charge of your transfer, immediate evacuation and coordination of your insurance in order for you to be treated as soon as possible

COLCA CANYON - COPORAQUE
On this day venture yourself to 4910 meters above sea level, at Patapampa sightseeing, where you’ll endulge your eyes by watching the stunning vulcano range, some of them active, such as the Sabancaya (5822m), you will enter one of the deepest canyons in the world, the Colca, where you will learn about traditions, gastronomy and customs with Coporaque local villagers.
CRUZ DEL CONDOR – COLCA TREK
Connect yourself with the Andean world by watching the Andean Condor flying from the famous Mirador del Condor (Condor’s sightseeing). On this day we will meet one of the deepest canyons, and you will be able to know the routine of local families who live inside the canyon and you will try some local cuisine, finally you’ll pass the night on an unusual oasis.
CABANACONDE – AREQUIPA
On this day we start climbing at 5 am in order to avoid the stifling heat. This day’s challenge will be to get to Cabanaconde, 1100m higher than Colca. . After having breakfast we start our way back to Arequipa.
