Professional Guide

All guide team members are native from the region and have a genuine passion to teach other people about their inheritance. They keep respect to our clients and the environment.



By the moment you get your reservation, the procedure of your entry  permission according to availability space. Once your personal data is confirmed, these cannot be changed. The only thing permitted is to update your passport number. The permission includes Machupicchu entry.



The night before your trip the guide will meet you to give you some instructions regarding your adventure. You will receive a duffel bag in order to pack your belongings, then you hand it out  to the carrier team . This bag should not exceed 7 kg.



All transportation is included on this trip. You will be picked up from your hotel to start the trip. The return train from  Aguas Calientes is included, in the Vista Dome class. Once you get to the train station, you will come back to your hotel in Cusco. Your Machu Picchu bus ticket to Aguas Calientes is included as well.


Camping Team

One of the The Peru Travel desires is  our clients to feel comfortable while they are using our camping team, and you will since our camping team is wide and comfortable. We have a special tent where our clients will have their meals as well.



The Peru Travel chefs specialize in well-known Peru’s cuisine. They use only natural products, in case you have some restrictions with some meals, you must indicate the moment you make your booking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day during the trip, along with tea and snacks. The first breakfast and the last day’s lunch are not included.



Since your first lunch until your last breakfast, The peru Travel will provide you all water you need. Water will be boiled, filtred and then chilled before its distribution. You have to give us your own water bottles. It’s recommended to take a canteen and avoid the use of plastic bottles.


First Aid

Every The Peru Travel guide has been trained in first aid by the Red Cross. Your guide will always have a first aid kit for basic medical issues and oxygen. In case of extreme urgency, the company will be in charge of your transfer, immediate evacuation and coordination of your insurance in order for you to be treated as soon as possible.



We believe that paying attention to little details makes the difference between other companies. Each hiker receives a small pillow and trekking cane; these items will help you to improve your experience.

Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

Huayna Picchu is a mountain located around Machupicchu. Since its paths are quite steep, we recommend that you stay in Machupicchu and enjoy it. You will be there in a time where there are not many visitors, so you will be able to explore it in your own way.


    On this day explore part of the beautiful Andean Mountain range and its wonderful changing landscape. Relax yourself in the Lares valley waters. At 3300m, discover the Kiswarani particular village, a place frozen in time, where villagers wear colorful outfits, keeping ancient traditions alive. Explore the waterfalls and overnight by the lagoon.


    Explore the beautiful Hatun Ccocha lake, feel the peace and tranquility that mountain can offer. Enjoy the moment where sunlight colors the morning, assume the challenge to climb the Pachacuteq or El Condor pass (4650m) . Connect yourself with the snow capped mountains that surround it, Colque Cruz (5600m), Pitusiray (5700m). Explore turquoise-colored lagoons, go camping between the llamas, alpacas and Andean crop at Cancha-Cancha village. By the afternoon, let your imagination fly by watching a starry sky full of constellations.


    Discover how changing micro climates could be. Endulge your eyes by watching landscapes and paths that connects the tough Andean range and the beautiful Sacred Valley (2700m). Explore the wonderful terraces at the Maras salt fields, dive into the past by visiting this unusual place. Discover Moray, an agricultural lab where priests used to examine the ground and crop. Finish your day in Ollantaytambo, Inca city that lasts over time where your lodge is located.


    On this day you will discover Machupichu, by the morning we will explore the beautiful Ollantaytambo archaeological center before boarding the panoramic train that will head us to Machupicchu village. Discover Machupiccchu before your eyes, in a privileged time, as it were only for you. By the afternoon you will take the train returning Cusco.

Second day:
You will camp at CANCHA- CANCHA.

Third day:
You will rest in Ollantaytambo at  Samanapaq hotel 

Fourth day:
We will go to the train station to go back to Cusco.

We give you the camping equippement but:

The confirmation will be sent via email. You can print it and show it to your guide before the tour starts. You will have as well, your travel assessor email, who will assist you on every question or doubt you could have.

You are able to buy online through Master Card, Visa and American Express cards. We accept debit cards too, and we work using trustworthy systems such as CULQUI and PAYPAL.

For every tour we use only modern vehicles including enough space and capacity in order for you to feel cozy and comfortable during the trip. Each vehicle is equipped with air-conditioning, reclining seats and a high-quality audio system.

No, because we handle exclusive groups. The cost may vary according to the language, Spanish, Portuguese or English. In case you wish the guidance service in any other language, please contact us.

We recommend you to carry sunglasses, comfortable shoes and a camera as the most important items.
